Klikado is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, no profiles, and nothing is ever sold or shared with advertisers. Here is exactly what each tool touches.
Text formatter
Everything happens in your browser. The text you type is never sent to our server, stored, or logged. Closing the page erases it.
QR code generator
QR codes are generated locally in your browser. The links or text you paste never reach our server.
Link shortener
To make a short link work for everyone, the server stores the URL you shorten, the generated code, the creation time, and a count of how many times the link is opened. That count is a plain number; we do not record who opened a link, from where, or when each visit happened.
Your browser also keeps a local list of links you created (the Recent list) so you can find them again. That list never leaves your device, and deleting entries there does not delete the server record, so shared links keep working.
Video downloader
The video URL you paste is processed by the server to fetch the preview and stream the download, then discarded. Video files are streamed through the server and never stored on it.
Analytics
Klikado uses Google Analytics to count page views and to see which tools get used (events like a link being shortened or a QR being generated, with no content attached). Google Analytics sets cookies and processes your IP address per its own policies. We use this only to understand what is worth improving.
